The CAN Newsletter already reported in several articles about CAN at the Embedded World trade show. In 5 halls latest developments were presented. More than 720 exhibitors from 39 countries participated. 1414 attendees and speakers were part at the Embedded World Conference and Electronic Displays Conference. According to the organizer, from 21 to 23 June 2022, around 18 000 international embedded experts from 76 countries attended the 20th Embedded World. The CAN Newsletter was part of the exhibition and collected a few impressions of latest CAN-related products.

HY-Di from HY-Line is a system consisting of batteries and analysis software and hardware (Source: Hy-Line)

HY-Di from HY-Line is a system consisting of batteries and analysis software and hardware. The HY-Di Smart Battery System monitors Li-ion battery packs from anywhere and at any time (according to the company), whether via internet, SM, or CAN. Connect to the different batteries via internet using the HY-Dibattery Interface (HBI) and an internet browser. A variety of battery parameters can be monitored via CAN or SM. The integrated COM ports allow online monitoring of the batteries during the charging process. For example, technicians working in the healthcare sector, can access battery monitoring data for CAN-capable batteries and their healthcare devices.
